We completed our setup and went live on 22.01.2021.

We needed a multiple of 36 participants as ditacted by our balance. Currently we sit at 69 participants out of 72 with our official means of participation closed. This is because we automated the process to maximize participation by not providing any time limitations (as the study can be done unsupervised with no prior registration).

As a byproduct of the free design, some participants started the tests but didnt complete it, which is currently rectified by friends of the study teams, because this is not automated. Before that we provided 6 regular participants with „rectifying“ participation slots via the regular testing site https://homepages.uni-regensburg.de/~hal35337/fsem/. After applying, these participants were sent this https://homepages.uni-regensburg.de/~hal35337/fsem-custom/ site and a testnumber, which they need to provide to start the tests. These number are the runs we were missing at the time and this approach was more time efficient than adjusting our regular site to use abandoned run numbers.

Out of the 72 participants, 11 participations needed to be rectified. 3 of the 11 incomplete runs are due to some technical error, while the other 8 participants didn't finish. Currently we are missing 3 participants, which will be completed soon.

In the meantime we already developed a tool to download the complete firebase and provide it as a usable csv file, which was optimized for use in Excel/Sheets. With this file as a central hub, the questionnaires/tests on the content of the videos are being marked.

In the next steps the tests will be compared and checked to ensure validity for our following analysis, combining and comparing the results with the videos at hand and searching for an effect provided by the quality of the videos.
