In the meeting with the supervisor the focus of the study was limited to giving an overview of existing types of document annotation tools and measuring the success of error recall between different annotation tools.

• what similar studies have been conducted

Getting an overview of different annotation tools:

• find which prominent annotation applications are available/being used
• how can these tools be classified
• determine which kind of tools should be compared in the study
