Hintergrund

The Memorial Archives Platform of the KZ-Gedenkstätte Flossenbürg offers a unique data set about concentration camps and prisoners during the second worl war. One part of this data set is information about cemeteries and tombs e.g. where persons are buried. This data is uncertain to some extent concerning metadata meaning e.g. that it is sometimes unclear which persons are buried where.

Zielsetzung der Arbeit

The goal of this project is to develop a single page web application with the data set of the Memorial Archives Platform to visualize information concerning cemetery- and tomb-metadata for three specific use cases. Next to the viusalization of general information of this data, researchers shall also be able to annotate and adjust the information.
